WHAT
One of the keystone features of the Chick-fil-A Tri-State Yankees partnership is the NEW Chick-fil-A Double Play trigger. This trigger has two parts.
PART 1 - Donations to Covenant House
If the Yankees turn a double play while at Yankee Stadium during any regular season home game it will activate the donation of the value of 500 meals* to Covenant House New York and Covenant House New Jersey, courtesy of Chick-fil-A Tri-State.
*Participating Tri-State area Chick-fil-A® restaurants will donate 500 meals for every double play the Yankees turn at Yankee Stadium during 2024 regular season home games to Covenant House. 500 meals are equivalent to $1,500.00. The total 2024 donation not to exceed $100,000.00.
PART 2 - Donations + App Giveaway
On FRIDAY home games ONLY, if the Yankees turn a double play while at Yankee Stadium, in addition to the donation to Covenant House, the Chick-fil-A Tri-State Operators will also implement a giveaway via the app, claim and redeemable the following day** at any Tri-State area Chick-fil-A restaurant for one free entrée, 10:30AM-close.
**If activated, guest can redeem this offer by downloading and signing into their Chick-fil-A App and claiming their Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich. The Chick-fil-A offer may be claimed the next day only (Saturday) only and is redeemable through the following Wednesday.
CLAIM & REDEEM
- CLAIM - Guests can claim their reward by opening their app on the Saturday following the Double Play Trigger activating, for the reward to populate in the app.
- Claim period is only the day after (Saturday) the trigger is activated.
- Guests must have location services turned on/enabled for the reward to populate in their App.
- REDEEM - Guests can redeem their reward by placing a mobile order or scanning the App.
- The redemption period is four (4) days after the trigger is activated.
- Example: If triggered on Friday, claim period is Saturday and redemption period is Saturday – Wednesday.
REWARD
Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich
- Claim: Next Day (Saturday)
- Redeem: 4 Day Redemption (Saturday through Wednesday, Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays.)
- One reward per Chick-fil-A App user.
